Any way to calculate Stopping power from electron-hole pairs (or vice versa)?

Hello,
I understand that Stopping power is the energy deposited over a certain distance in a target when a particle strikes the target. Electron-hole pairs, meanwhile, are generated from the displacement of electron(s) from the valence to the conduction band, upon excitation by an incident particle. Does Geant4 provide any mechanism to connect the two through some direct mathematical relation, such that one can be obtained from the other?

Geant4 doesn’t know about e/h pairs, nor about the microphysics of solid state materials (valence vs. conduction band, etc.). It treats all materials as continuous “fluids” of free atoms.
