I am developing a new process and I need to change the defined post-step process to G4CoupledTransportation based on a condition. The only way I thought that I can do this is by adding pPostStepPoint->SetProcessDefinedStep() to my AlongStepDoIt. Although GetProcessDefinedStep() in the stepping action shows that the post-step process has been changed, my observation says not. I guess I could only change the name of the post-step process but the stepping manager (or something else) has already updated the step by using the previously defined process (in my case Compton or Photoelectric). Interestingly, the PostStepPoint’s position and momentum can be changed but no luck with the process. Any advice/thoughts on how to overcome this issue would be highly appreciated.
