Hello， Can Geant4 calculate the ionization of some external conditions, such as the charge transport under the action of high voltage and electric stress. If can, is there any reference example?
Hi. I am not aware of anyone who has tried to use Geant4 for the type of simulation which you are considering. It seems to me that such a simulation would need details of interactions beyond simple energy deposition, and would be very material dependent.
It might be possible to couple Geant4 and Garfield to simulate such a scenario for select materials, but the reliability of the simulation would be difficult to judge without extensive comparisons and validation.
