Emitted particles has more kinetic energy than projectile

I am trying to simulate the neturon induced reaction with mustard gas (sensitive component). The incident energy of the neutron is 14 MeV. There is inconsistancy in the outcome of the simulation. It turned out that the kinetic energy spectrum extended till ~ 22 MeV. Thr processes responsible for these two particles are hIoni (Proton) and IonIoni(for alpha). After investigating there are only protons and alphas which has kinetic energy more than 14 MeV. All other particles e.g., neutrons, ions are having energies less thank 14 MeV. Any idea for such an inconsistency appearing in simulation. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
