Example B4b - Generating spectrum of energy in CdTe detector

I have been trying to generate an energy spectrum in CdTe detector but been getting a weird spectrum. The spectrum that I am getting has 4 photopeaks and is symmetric along the x-axis. I also tried to model Cd and Te separately but the problem continues (2 photopeaks for each and symmetric), however, the same code works well for Si detector.

there is no enough information, difficult to comment. You need to show this plot and explain how you get it.


This plot is for a Germanium detector. I was wondering why there are 2 higher peaks because I used 140 keV gamma photon beam so we expect to see only one photopeak at that energy.
