G4LivermorePolarizedPhysics for Compton polarimetry?

Hello everyone,

I’m simulating a Compton polarimeter of the king of the Wu and Shaknov experiment: two back-to-back (mutually perpendicularly) polarized gammas undergo Compton scattering and the angular distribution of the scattered gammas is measured. I’m using G4LivermorePolarizedPhysics. Unfortunately I see an almost flat distribution (still see some anisotropy but way less then predicted from theory).
Am I using a wrong physics list/model?

Hello,

as minimum you need enable simulation of quantum entanglement via UI command

/process/em/QuantumEntanglement true

This should work in recent Geant4 and require G4LivermorePolarizedPhysics.
