Hello. I am a new user of geant4. I would like to know if it is possible to specify nanomaterials as an absorber of gamma rays. I searched nist database and I couldn’t find how to use nanoparticles in describing materials. Anyone can help me?

Geant4 does not treat the internal structure of materials. You specify a material strictly by its composition (isotopes, elements, or mixtures of other defined materials), its denisty, and its phase. The Application Developers Guide has a section on materials and material definitions.
