Multiple scoring meshes for layers

Hi, I am wanting to spatially resolve dose in a number of non uniform layers, in this case I believe that multiple scoring meshes is the best option and have implemented them with the RE03 example. I am wondering if this was a sensible option or is there a better approach? Do the scoring meshes voxels use the material in the other parallel world, can they cope with different materials?
