I understand that the implementation G4OpAbsorption is “trivial in that the process merely kills the particle.” Book For Application Developers (cern.ch) Pg 249
But does it account for any Physics processes like Single Photon Absorption?
The user needs to specify the absorption length–there aren’t pre-defined values in Geant4. So, the G4OpAbsorption processes accounts for what is included in that absorption length.
