Hi All,
I am a newbie on Geant4. I have successfully installed Geant4 and execute all examples. I am good at C++, object oriented programming, frameworks like root etc.
Now, I am trying to learn as a basic example in Geant4, for instance, 100 GeV energy proton impinges a C target (here, proton is primary particle) and get the secondary particles such as pi+ and see the cross-sections etc, it is also good to check the kinematic variables for the particles. I can use either FTFP_BERT or QGSP_BERT as the hadronic models.
What do you suggest starting as the initial step for me to learn how to do this? Or, quick suggestion which example in Geant4 I should start?
