Why people attached "f" in front of vairable? EX. fBoundaryProcess

Hi,

Some variables in the Geant4 code has “f” in front of the name. EX. fBoundaryProcess. Do you know why people attached “f” in front of vairables?

It is an arbitrary convention, common to all Geant4 examples, to identify private data members of a class.

Also, in Geant4 code, it is a convention for an enumeration.
