Hi there,
When I initially installed Geant4, the interface was working properly. However, after that, I have noticed a black background on the Geant interface page. When I run the simulation, I can see the particle tracks, but not the volumes and the boxes. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Please let us know your Geant4 version, your operating system (Linux/Windows/Mac) and platform (your actual computer). (I think this information is requested when you post a query.)
There are several things that could go wrong when it comes to graphics. Do you have the latest version of your graphics driver? Are you using X-windows remotely? Etc.

Have a look at Problem with visual window.
If this does not help, I can only assume it is something to do with Oracle VM. Can you try another VM? Or get access to a pure Linux machine?

an alternative to Oracle VM is the Windows Linux subsystem, which can be installed from the windows app store
