Bolometer simulation

I am going to create a simulation of an experiment with garnet bolometric crystal to calculate axion masses’ and coupling constants’ constraints.

Is there any geant4 examples that will be helpful for this goal?
What physics is it reasonable to simulate? I thought, radioactive nuclei inside crystal (feedstock natural contamination)+ crystal as edep counter will be enough, but my colleagues suggested my adding phonon simulations in my programme

Hello,

the choice depend on what and how you intend to measure. Simulation may be useful to understand efficiency of signal registration or shape of background signals.
