CAD import and geometry testing

I have imported a few stp solids in my geometry, and I managed to correctly place them without intersections (you can see in the figure that there is a small gap between the 3 of them).

However, if I run a geometry test I get intersection warnings:

Checking overlaps for volume VG1skinOUT ... OK!

I would like to know why this happens, if it is related to the stp imported nature of the solids, and how to solve it if it is needed to

Thanks

Hi,

Are you using Geant4 compiled with VecGeom? If so, may you try without VecGeom?

Best,
Alvaro

Unfortunately not, I am using G4 plain and simple
