I a have doubt regarding the calculation of the dose in Sensitive detector . Is there any condition for the Size of the detector to attain CPE condition to obtain the dose as Edep/mass .Because if we dont consider the CPE condition the energy deposited by Photon per Mass will not equal to dose .
In exampleB1, CPE condition is not guaranteed , therefore energy deposited per mass can be not equal to kerma. Nevertheless, this edep per mass is what is usually called “absorbed dose” in literature.
