I need to simulate the decay of the J/Psi particle. I referred to some examples of radioactive decay in the part of the extended examples. But J/psi is a subatomic particle and I don’t know how to define J/psi as a primary particle and which physics list should be used for such decay. I need to score the decay production like muon pair and others. Could someone please give me some advice.

From what you describe above, and if you’re not tracking particles from the decay in a detector, you may want to use a generator like Pythia, madgraph, etc, instead of Geant4.

Thank you for your answer. Those programs would be good alternatives, however I’d also like to keep track of all the decay products. I have found some libraries for the J/Psi declaration, but unfortunately, I don’t really understand how to use this for my problem.
