Hi everybody,
I’d like to share the results I obtained using Geant4 (version 10.7) to simulate the proton fluence through a multilayer PCB.
The PCB represents part of a front-end Patch Array Antenna and consists of alternating layers of Copper and Rogers (identified as “Patch” and “Dielectric” in the legend), followed by a 5.0 mm thick Aluminum layer that acts as a particle shield.
I simulated two energy conditions: 20 MeV and 50 MeV, with 10⁴ particles in each case. I am aware that this is a limited number of particles, but it provides a preliminary insight into the system’s behavior.
I’d like to collect your impression about the results obtained!!!
