I want to model a scintillation detector in Geant4. I want to know that are there emission spectrum data for commonly used scintillators and if not, is defining emission spectrum manually with material property table in detector construction the only way?
Currently, one needs to define the spectrum with a material property table. Ideally, there would be predefined spectra as you suggest, but this doesn’t yet exist.
