G value problem (geant4-dna)

Hi there,

I have been experimenting with the DNA examples: Chem6 and Scavenger but can’t get (alpha) G values close to the literature. Alphas in water should produce ~1.32 H2 molecules / 100ev but I’m getting about half that.

Am I doing something wrong / do the physics lists need to be changed to work for alphas?
