Hi All!
How in phonon example of G4CMP
G4 version 10.06.02 calculate
response to 1 keV electrons with
taking Luke electrons for signal
formation?
Thanks you in advance.
Hello! G4CMP was separated from Geant4 in about 2016, and is a separate, open source package distributed via GitHub (GitHub - G4CMP/G4CMP: A low energy condensed matter physics package for Geant4 · GitHub). The residual pieces of phonon simulation from our initial development work, which you find in Geant4, is my responsibility (and my dropped responsibility) to remove.
That residue does not include NTL amplification, or indeed any charge carrier physics at all. The separate G4CMP package does include both phonon and charge carrier physics for germanium and silicon (see https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0168900223004631, also available as [2302.05998] G4CMP: Condensed Matter Physics Simulation Using the Geant4 Toolkit), and phonon physics for a number of other materials.
We have an active user and developer community in both dark matter physics (SuperCDMS) and superconducting qubit devices. See https://confluence.slac.stanford.edu/spaces/G4CMP/pages/479598562/G4CMP+GEANT+for+Condensed+Matter+Physics
