Dear Geant4 Users,
I am here interested in some clarifications about the “GEANT4_ENABLE_TESTING” flag which is possible within the installation options at cmake stage.
Concerning Monte Carlo calculations, quality assurance validation and verification is an important issue in utilizing software for radioprotection and nuclear security and safety purposes.
Being Geant4 a software toolkit composed of code parts to be assembled by the user who is the effective developer of the source code of the problem to be modelled, I am here interested in obtaining more information about this option and some explanations about what it consists of.
Implementing such option, I get an empty folded called “Testing”.
