I would like to know how of a difference (in time) it would make if i run the simulations on WSL instead of Bare Metal. (Both on Same Device). Can anyone help me on choosing where to install stuffs?

It’s impossible to answer in general terms as it’ll (probably) depend both on the structure of your application and the system you’re running on.
I’d make the decision more on which you are most comfortable working with.
Thank You @bmorgan . I am running on a intel i7 with 16 Core CPU with 24 threads. And i need to install the O2Physics and FOCAL framework.

As I said, it’ll depend on those specific applications (which I’m not familiar with). This might be better addressed to ALICE support to see if people there have experience with running them on WSL/Native.
