i just run the extended example TestEm5. i want my own required material and on which radiation effects… anyone know how to set desired material and corresponding thickness etc… i’ll be very greatfull to you.

I guess the most things you need to change are on the DetectorConstruction.hh and DetectorConstruction.cc
“G4Box” “G4Tubs” …means a "shape ". you can chang lengths in this class
‘‘G4Element’’ is a class where you can find elements. And use ‘‘G4Material’’ to create you own materials you need.
I just study Geant4 for a short time.And my English level is poor. So don’t trust me
