How to weigh absorbed energy by particle type in example B4d

What methods can I use to adjust the absorbed energy in a volume by the type of particle that deposited that energy and then graph the total energy in a root histogram? I want to find the equivalent dosage that a volume experiences after particles pass through the calorimeter in example B4d.

Rather than doing the “equivalent dose” conversion within your simulation, it might be better for you to record the true energy deposit, either as an N-tuple with particle type, Edep, position, etc., or use multiple scorers to record energy split by particle type. Then apply the appropriate conversions (which I think are both particle and material dependent) in your analysis code. That would also allow you to quantify the uncertainty due to different conversion factors.
