Input unstable particles are tracked and therefore potentially affected by fields?

Dear experts,

According to this presentation, it seems possible to inject into Geant4 a decay chain of unstable particles, in such a manner that they are tracked but the decay channel is the one specified by the input.

  1. Are those unstable tracked particles affected by magnetic/electric fields?
  2. If so, does Geant4 ignore the coordinates (x,y,z,t) of the vertex given in the input?
