Is GAMOS (Geant4 based Architecture for Medicine Oriented Simulations) a general purpose Geant4 based application?; in other words, Can GAMOS be used in medical physics, particle physics, nuclear physics, space science and accelerator science?. I know the application’s name suggests that GAMOS would only be useful in medicine or medical physics, but i still have my doubts. I say this because it is mentioned on internet that GAMOS was designed to make Geant4 easy to use; it is also mentioned on internet that because of its great flexibility, a considerable number of GAMOS users already work in fields other than medical physics. Thanks
Certainly it is. About 10% of the users belong to other fields, like Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics.
