Is it possible to define surfaces with different optical parameters for cylinder base and side?

The Book for application developers describes how to define the optical surfaces and their parameters. I wonder, if it is possible to define different surfaces with different optical parameters for the base of a cylinder and its side surface?

Not a bare cylinder in isolation. What we have done in our simulation framework is to attach very thin empty (G4_Galactic) volumes to the top and bottom faces of the cylinder. Then we can define a BorderSurface for each of them, and a SkinSurface for the “whole” cylinder. The border surface takes precedence in the optics code.
