Can I shoot two particles with specific distance between them with the GPS macro file? But I want these particles to be shot randomly in a specific area i.e. in a beam with radius 2 mm.

You can define the multiple sources shape, their position, angular biasing, energy etc… See the macro I posted here.
Also, section 2.7 of the Book For Application Developers was pretty convenient for me to start customizing multiple sources.
