Neutron capture reaction of Boron10

A neutron is absorbed by isotope B10 ,which produced an alpha particle , Li7, and a gamma. It is a kind of neutron capture reaction. But it shows neutronInelastic. Why?

I’m also trying to understand what the neutronInelastic process does to neutrons (in my case the medium is Liquid Argon). Did you check if a neutron with Parent ID != 0 is created at the same point where the neutronInelastic process finish your primary neutron?

Here, a macro for example Hadr03 and its printout.
The physics constructor used for hadron inelastic is QGSP_BIC_HP (see PhysicsList.cc)
