Obtain the number of optical photons

Hello dear users,
I want to get the number of optical photons that reach the meshed area. To do this, I have used the meshing method and the following commands:
/score/quantity/nOfTrack
/score/quantity/population
/score/filter/particle filter opticalphoton
Are these commands used correctly? Which is more correct than nOfTrack and population?
Or is there another command to count the number of photons reaching the meshed area?

Your question doesn’t have anything to do with optical photons. You’ll get a much better response by omitting reference to optical photons. (That is, someone knowledgeable about command base scoring might answer.)
