Obtaining the attenuation coefficient in geant4

Hello friends
I am a newbie.
I want to get gamma attenuation data in geant 4 please explain the method fully as I am not professional like you

Hi. You have to count the number of photons emerging from a target with known thickness that did not interact. The photon beam is a pencil beam. Then you calculate the attenuation coefficient. You can refer to this paper, where this kind of simulation is described: https://aapm.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/mp.14226
