Hello, is it possible to set a pressure gradient in a solid?
I mean, I’ve a collimator in which the pressure is not constant. Is it possible to define a gradient function? Or the only way is to split the solid in several part and set different pressure values in each one of them?

No, unfortunately there is not. Pressure, like density, is a fixed numerical property of a G4Material
instance. What you describe – slicing the solid and assigning different “materials” to each slice – is what you have to do in G4.
