I would like to ask related to the range contradiction of Bragg curves in different Geant4 versions.
I am simulated incident 313.2 MeV/u carbon ions in PMMA phantom using Geant4 versions 10.3.3, 10.6.3, and 11.1.0
I got similar results for versions 10.3.3 and 10.6.3 but version 11.1.0 have a different range as attached image.
I am confused about which Geant4 version that provides the correct result.
I’d appreciate any help on this.
10.6/10.7 should be better. I suggest you compare your results against published results for double checking. The shift in 11.1 is currently under investigation.

FYI, when I changes of mean excitation energy (I) of PMMA material in Geant4 version 11.1.0 will shift the range of Bragg curves but in version 10.6 different I-value is not shift the range of Bragg curves of Carbon ions.
