The meaning of Time

Dear Geant4 users, could you please tell me what the time in the following picture represents? Does it represent the time from the start of the event to the generation of this particle? I hope to get an answer. Thank you!

Geant4 has two types of times. Global time (since the start of the event) and Localtime (since the creation of each particle, it’s their own clock, so-to-speak).

Hello, in my Geant4 simulation of the (n,γ) reaction, theoretically only one gamma photon should be produced. However, the figure above shows several gamma photons being generated. Could you explain the physical nature behind this phenomenon? Thank you.

There are so many models and so many options that it is virtually impossible to answer. Check the verbosity of the tracking and see if you can make sense of the “Creator Process”
