Usage of other nuclear data libraries (ENDF, JENDL, TENDL)

Geant4 Version: 11.3.2
Operating System: Mac OS
CMake Version: 4.0

Hello everyone,

I’ve seen several discussions on this forum regarding either the usage of other nuclear data libraries (ENDF, JENDL, TENDL) or customised cross-section values in geant4. These discussions date from 2021 and 2022 (the ones that I’ve seen) and I’m simply asking if there’s anything in development for allowing users to custom the physics part of the simulations.

I’m looking to simulate photonuclear reactions (from several MeV to around 40 MeV), I was able to use LEND but it stops at 20 MeV, when I extended the limit (above 20MeV) it started complaining about the conservation of energy not being respected.

My main question is the following, can we make Geant4 use other nuclear data libraries for photonuclear reactions continuously from several MeVs to around 40 MeV ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
